Concerns & Complaints

Are you worried about something?

Please write down any concerns that you have in the form below.  This is a safe space where you can talk to us about something that may be worrying you.

This may be linked to:

  • Concerns you may have with your child's learning
  • A friendship issue within school
  • A worry outside of school (at home)
  • Concerns relating to relationships or finances at home
This information will go straight to a member of staff who can help you to make the situation better.  If you could remember to include your name, we can ensure that we can speak to you to ensure that everything is okay. If you ever felt that you were in danger, we may have to speak to other people to keep you safe.

Complaints procedure

Any complaints, or potential complaints, about the school can best be resolved informally with the Head of School or senior staff. If attempts to settle the complaint fail, then the complainant may decide to make a formal complaint. In this incidence, the complainant should set the complaint in writing and submit it to the Head of School.

The Head of School will acknowledge receipt of the complaint and conduct an investigation, communicating the outcome within 15 school days. If the outcome is not agreed, the complainant must make a complaint to the Governing Body within 10 days.

If the complainant is not satisfied with the outcome decided by the Governing Body, the complaint can be referred to the Local Authority within 6 months of the Governors' response.
